Fabrication Project Coordinator

Located in Arvada, Colorado our headquarters houses sales, service, fabrication, engineering and parts divisions. Collaboration between divisions ensures a single source for all of our customers equipment needs. As a small close knit organization, we are looking for the right individual who wants to be an integral part of our team.

 

We are looking for a organized individual with an acute attention to detail and a willingness to learn and work hard. A successful candidate will be responsible for: ensuring project documentation follows company policy. Evaluates current procedures and recommends changes to improve the efficiency of coordinating and financially tracking projects. Requires a bachelor's degree and/or 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

 

Essential Capabilities:

  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Capable of recognizing equipment parts and construction materials and verifying they meet specification. Also requires sourcing alternatives as needed.
  • Read and understand mechanical, electrical and structural drawings and compile BOM’s for ordering.

Performs a variety of tasks including but not limited to:

  • Attending kickoff meetings to learn project scope
  • Attending weekly production meetings and reporting status
  • Works with Engineers and Production Manager to purchase required items for each project, track shipments and verify receipt of goods
  • Coordinates the return of faulty or unused goods
  • Expedites delivery of materials
  • Creates product O&M Manuals
  • Creates and maintains project job books
  • Creates and maintains project electronic folders and archives completed project documentation
  • Works with Accounting personnel to reconcile project costing
  • Tracks project invoicing and issues invoices to customers
  • Coordinates project schedules with customers
  • Arranges shipping and creates detailed bills of lading, communicates shipping with customers
  • Has a keen awareness of project status
  • Works with Production Manager to maintain State and Third Party Reviewer label inventory, orders new labels, and issues reports to States and Third Party Reviewers on a monthly basis.

A successful Candidate will be competent in the following:

  • Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point and Project
  • Sage 100 a plus.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience / Skills

Reports directly to the Engineering and Fabrication Manager

Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Monday – Friday, one hour lunch.

Field Service Technician - Air Compressors

We are looking for a mechanically inclined individual with a willingness to learn and work hard.

 

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and install all types of air compressors, air dryers and filters.
- Firsthand experience with rotary screw compressors, Sullair preferred.
- Firsthand experience with centrifugal compressors, preferred.
- Read prints, wiring schematics, and diagrams for all equipment
- Complete mechanical/electrical repair work as needed in an efficient manner
- Must be able to interface with customers with a sense of pride and professionalism.
- Overtime and travel may be required.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum high school education and two to five years of previous mechanical/service experience.
  • Strong mechanical background and troubleshooting skills are necessary.
  • Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Candidates must be able to perform duties without direct supervision; be self-directed.
  • A set of basic maintenance tools is required.
  • All applicants will be required to submit a motor vehicle record.

Relocation assistance will be considered based on experience!
